As part of FPA's goal to unite all who champion the financial planning process, we have been active in identifying the leading experts, resources and firms who are pioneering financial planning in the large corporate environment.

Major Firms Symposium

In 2005, FPA launched a ground-breaking meeting at Annual Conference in San Diego. This symposium created a focus for corporate level executives, directors and VPs responsible for:

• Overseeing financial planning as a strategy.
• Managing financial planning departments or business units.
• Managing financial planning sales, marketing, compliance, education and/or operations functions.

The two-day program includes facilitator-led dialogue around key strategic, regulatory and compliance issues. This yearly event provides the opportunity to learn from peers who have passion for financial planning and how best to manage, train, develop and deliver financial planning in a large enterprise setting.

Monthly Conference Calls

This series of conference calls is designed exclusively for executives who oversee, manage or direct the delivery of financial planning in large financial services firms.

The calls provide a forum to share developments, resources and industry best practices, helping large firms achieve their strategic goals in developing qualified financial planners.
