DENVER…February 25, 2008…The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is currently accepting nominations for its 2009 Board of Directors.
The Board sets a vision for the Association, positions FPA as the heart of financial planning and contributes to building the profession. Board members are called upon to think strategically; engage in flexible, ongoing dialogue openly; work collaboratively; and advance FPA’s Primary Aim by exercising vision and stewardship for the benefit of FPA and its stakeholders.
Members of FPA’s 2008 Board of Directors will elect the 2009 Board from candidates nominated by July 9, 2008. The 2009 Board of Directors will consist of up to 18 members, including three officers. The new members, to be elected in late 2008, will each serve three-year terms beginning January 1, 2009.
